Catalana 1200x800 2 This sporty looking 27.43m Sunseeker is the epitome of chic, intelligent design. Built in 2007 and superbly upgraded in a 2018 refit, there’s no better way to explore the Bahamas than on board Catalana.

A cosy main salon featuring panelled ceiling and recessed lighting, club style leather sofas, polished wood floors and oversized windows gives way to a convivial eight seater dining area with uninterrupted views. A cutting edge entertainment system will provide hours of entertainment for nights when you’d rather be inside.

Exterior features include a banquette and dining for 10 on the covered main deck aft, which is accessed through the floor to ceiling tinted windows from the main salon.

Catalana sleeps eight thanks to the versatility of the four beautifully designed staterooms. The master cabin is an ode to pared down luxury, with polished wood cabinetry throughout, cinema style TV and beyond ample storage solutions. The master ensuite boasts a double sink vanity unit, spacious shower and pale contemporary tiling.

The VIP cabin has an oversized bed, sleek curved fittings and a dressing table while the compact twin cabins are cleverly designed to provide maximum bed space. All are ensuite, decorated in tranquil neutrals and each have their own TV and entertainment system.

Indeed, Catalan punches above her weight in terms of exterior deck space.

She further benefits from a hydraulic bathing platform which can be lowered up to 1m below water level, ensuring safe, easy access into the ocean. Four highly professional crew members are led by Captain Dominic Strydom, an experienced South African-born charter captain whose previous cruising grounds include the US east coast, the USVIs and BVIs, Puerto Rico, Turks & Caicos, St Martin, St Barts, St Vincent, St Lucia and Grenada as well as Catalana’s current charter waters of Eleuthera, Bimini, Harbour Island and the Exhumas. There is no one better equipped to ensure you get the very best from your vacation in the Bahamas.

These high standards of excellence extend to the incredible catering on board Catalana and foodies will be delighted by the offerings from arrival to departure day.
