Aquanova

  • 45.7m | Palmer Johnson | 2007 (2016, 2021)
Aquanova 1200x800 The ultimate in sleek, streamlined superyachting excellence, Aquanova will captivate you with her glamourous looks, elevated levels of comfort and classy attention to detail.

Built in 2007 by American shipyard Palmer Johnson, this 150’ (45.7m) open yacht was remodelled in 2016 and again in 2021, with extensive new interior styling by London-based design supremo Evan K Marshall. A New Yorker, he strove to retain Aquanova’s authenticity while also infusing her with a bright, fresh new image that has universal appeal.

Aquanova’s principle purpose is as a yacht on which guests can relax, have fun and feel utterly at home – and this brief has certainly been delivered. A few of her wow factors include a movie theatre, dedicated media room, beach club, gym and children’s playroom, making her the spot on choice for young families with a wide range of needs.

A light and airy main salon features unusually large floor to ceiling window panels running the length of one salon wall, creating an indoor-outdoor ambience that works particularly beautifully at sea. The influence of the ocean is all around you onboard Aquanova, and her rich and sumptuous deep sea blue velvet furnishing colour scheme contrasts wonderfully with light wood floors and warmer wood trim, making this extensive space feel cosy at a glance.

Formal dining is encompassed as part of the main salon area, with space for 10 at a highly polished dark wood table with comfy upholstered seating perfect for lingering, late night dinner soirees. An adjacent bar follows the established décor palette, offering luxe velvet covered bar stools on which to perch with a pre or post dinner cocktail.

On movie nights, you’ll love the pale cream and dark wood styled cinema room with exceptionally wide screen TV and an oversized yet cosy daybed sofa which invites you to stretch out and lose yourself completely in your viewing.

Sleeping 10 across five immaculate staterooms, the master has a light touch with accents of deep blue again punctuating the crisp white linens. A dedicated work station makes keeping abreast of correspondence a pleasure rather than a challenge, while a highly original master ensuite features sassy mosaic tiling. All ensuites have individually designed aspects, as do the remaining staterooms - two doubles and two twins - which are arranged to provide flexible child-friendly options. What they all share, however, is clean, minimalist lines, elegant linens and clever storage options that make the most of every square foot.

Naturally, you will be extremely well looked after on the catering front too. Breakfasts span everything from simple home baked croissants and fresh fruit platters through to more exciting a la carte options should you desire. Even the table linens and crockery possess a distinctly oceanic influence, with blue and white the key colour scheme once more.

Outside on the main deck, a round table is a fab location for starting the day with coffee and a bite to eat, segueing easily into a sunny spot for an on deck light lunch as Aquanova’s amiable crew of seven remain on hand at every turn to keep you happy and well served.

A deck jacuzzi, swimming pool, gym and action-packed selection of water toys including jet skis, Seabob, kayaks and inflatables will keep the whole family entertained, while less adrenaline fuelled guests can simply sit back and watch the fun unfold in this personal Mediterranean adventure playground from the comfort of the beach club.

Twin MTU engines power Aquanova to a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. Her low 5'9'' (1.8m) draft makes her the ideal choice if shallow cruising and easy shoreline access are your priorities.
