Hugely talented Captain Aristidis Kotsias holds a Captain Class A diploma from the Greek Merchant Navy. He commenced his career in the sea on tankers and containers for more than twenty years, moving into the yachting industtry in 2022. Starting work as a captain on motor yachts, he has significantly expanded his knowledge, discipline and experience.
Determined, polite, loyal and professional, Captain Kotsias enjoys creating unique moments for the guests’ pleasure.
Chef & Cuisine
An experienced chef with more than 22 years of culinary experience under his belt, Chef Thanasis Stathoulias graduated from the Tourism Institute of Crete in 2000 with a degree in Culinary of Arts. Going on to work at some of the world’s best five star hotels including St. George Lycabettus Hotel in Athens before moving on board to superyachts, his marriage of an amazing personality, experience and exceptional culinary skills never fail to create unforgettable tasting experiences for guests on board.
Subtle and delicate influences from Asia infuse signature dishes from further afield including soba noodle salad with cucumber and mango, beef tartar with Asian flavours and seafood kritharoto with mussels and shrimps.
A typically light Mediterranean spread might start with tricolour cherry tomatoes, carob rusks and katiki domokou followed by shrimps with fennel and saffron. A main of sea bass with smoked aubergine cream, inspired by his Greek roots, could be finished off with orange pie and yoghurt mousse with exotic fruits.
For heartier appetites, Dimitris offers green salad with pears and gorgonzola followed by beef carpaccio with caramelized onions. A saffron risotto with beef tenderloin and red wine sauce is perfectly rounded off by tiramisu with mandarin sorbet.
