O’Natalina

  • 56m | Picchiotti | 1985 (2017)
ONATALINA 2 Built in 1985 by Italian naval architect Picchiotti, this majestic and classically designed craft won’t fail to impress from the moment you step on board.

A thoughtful and imaginative 2017 refit has bestowed the 56m O’Natalina with a distinctly futuristic feel, making the most of the ample space across generous decks for guests to relax together or be entirely at one with the natural beauty of their surroundings.

Sleeping up to 14 guests across seven ensuite staterooms, O’Natalina’s comfort threshold is no less than exquisite. Nothing is too much trouble for her 11-strong youthful and enthusiastic crew, led by the charming Captain Alexandros Bakalis, all of whom will ensure that you feel instantly at home.

A cruising speed of 15.5 knots and efficient engine fuel consumption of 350 litres/hr makes her the perfect choice for a restful and indulgent escape.

The Experience

Prepare to be wowed by the sheer opulence of O’Natalina. A capacious, minimalist salon is a calm oasis of neutrals with colour pops and a feature ceiling.

The indoor formal dining area is an homage to retro featuring a convivial 12 seater circular table complete with lazy Susan. Outside, the semi-covered aft deck is perfect for chilling out after dinner with a book or digestif.

An upper salon offers a hedonistic space for late evening, with a stylish bar, a dance floor incorporating frosted glass and further dining options offering uninterrupted ocean vistas wherever you look.

Stateroooms have been individually styled with a generous master cabin featuring semi-circular detailing, pale wood furnishings, mini salon and a dressing area as well as a roomy ensuite.

Two VIP suites are the epitomy of luxury, with one offering a distinctly last century ambience thanks to classical wood panelling, while two doubles and two twins – which can be converted to doubles – boast cleans lines and timeless simplicity.

Finally, the sundeck is the ultimate spot for soaking up the rays, with oversized loungers and daybeds well spaced out to create an atmosphere of elegance. Water toys include two wave runners, a SeaBob, water skis, SUPs, a wakeboard and waterslide.

The Captain

A passionate leader, Captain Vangelis Karamolegkos holds a Captain Class A’ Diploma, all necessary certificates and has received advanced training. Commencing his career at sea in 2007, he managed to climb the ranks quickly, and continues today with a deep passion and determination to excel.

Starting off on high speed passenger vessels and RoRo ships, Captain Vangelis later decided to develop his skills in a different environment and joined yachting. With his vibrant personality and vast experience, he aims to offer guests a memorable time on board by showing them the hidden gems of every area they choose to explore.

Chef & Cuisine

Inspired by his father, chef Panagiotis Achillias chose to follow his passion for food from an early age, training to degree level in culinary excellence before travelling the world to work in many different restaurants.

His specialty is Mediterranean cuisine and his wide-ranging experience has made him a master of the light touch, balancing delicate flavours to create innovative, fresh and tasty food from the finest produce available.

Signature salads include lobster with crystallized fennel and orange vinaigrette, seafood with poached egg and lemon sauce, Tandoori chicken with green tomato dressing and cucumber carpaccio with capers and mustard cream.

Inspired by his Greek roots, a sample menu features an appetizer of souvlaki wild turbot and duck foie gras with fleur de sel potatoes and Samos wine followed by a main of stuffed chicken with mushroom purée and steamed vegetables and a pavlova dessert.

Another favourite of Panagiotis kicks off with steamed scallops and sabayon almonds followed by grouper served in a slow cooked bouillabaisse sauce with lentil and pancetta dolmades before rounding off with marinated fruits soaked in wine and spices.
