Mariah Princess III
- 24m | Lagoon | 2020
This Lagoon-built 78’ (24m) superyacht was completed in 2020 and versatility really is her middle name, with every square foot made to count. Indeed, there’s a feeling that anything – and everything – is possible on board this minimalist, light-filled, contemporary oasis, whose interiors were curated by highly acclaimed Milan-based studio Nauta Design.
Sleeping eight guests across four comfortable staterooms - two king and two queen suites - she offers alternative solutions to the challenge of creating different accommodation options. One of the king staterooms can be easily transformed into a twin, as can the two queens. The master king also offers an impressive fold down private balcony deck – which is certainly beyond the norm in a boat of this size – as well as a widescreen TV opposite the bed and ensuite shower room with two sinks.
Sleek modern mirrored ensuite bathrooms create a feeling of space while the choice of cream and rich chocolate brown colour scheme in the ensuites as well as the sleeping quarters – complete with clever space-saving integral storage options - feels restful and relaxing, accentuated by crisp, neutral tone linens and soft furnishings.
Furthermore, the guest and crew cabins have been situated in the port and starboard hulls, leaving the central yacht area dedicated to indoor socialising.
Highlights include the flybridge jacuzzi - with its magnificent 360-degree views and royal blue sofa-edged lounging zone - and a home cinema in the main salon for relaxing movie nights or while sailing between destinations. The salon also enjoys an indoor-outdoor aspect thanks to oversized glass sliding doors and the extra-large hull portholes which are found throughout the yacht, welcoming more than average natural daylight into the interior spaces.
As such, this is certainly a sailing boat for sybarites who love the more sensuous pleasures in life. Guests will marvel at the phenomenal vistas of the horizon which are visible from the forward cockpit directly accessible from the salon and pale teak main deck, which is incredibly generous in size.
A casually chic deck banquette style dining area is a natural choice for al fresco breakfasts and lunches while the indoor dining area and adjacent bar in the cream and mocha toned open plan salon offers a more intimate and elegant option for lingering gastronomic suppers.
Mariah Princess III is presided over by a small but highly trained team of four crew who will attend to your every whim. The nature of being on board this very proactive catamaran means you can become as involved as you desire while appreciating the light breezes sweeping across the deck – or alternatively, seek out a secluded area on one of the two net trampolines or oversized strategically placed sunbeds for a spot of ray catching and dolphin spotting!
A hydraulic aft swim platform is accessed by two stairways, ensuring easy water access. Water toys include a Williams 505 diesel jet tender, eight sets of diving and snorkelling equipment, fishing gear, wakeboard and two SUP paddleboards.
With a maximum speed of 12 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots, Mariah Princess III has a range of 600 nautical miles and is quite simply one of the most aspirational choices for an active and stylish water-based vacation.
She enjoys a wide and varied global cruising area which takes in the Windward and Leeward islands, US and British Virgin Islands, the Caribbean, Bermuda, Spain, Sicily, Sardinia, Montenegro, Malta, Italy, Croatia, Corsica and the Balearics.
