Manifiq
- 40m | Mondomarine | 2010 (2016 )
Undergoing an extensive refit in 2016 leaving her in pristine condition, this Mondomarine yacht and her professional crew are ready to make your wildest charter expectations a reality.
Extraordinary charter yacht
“It’s no surprise that Manifiq has become a very popular charter vessel over the last few years,” says her principal captain, James Carlyle. “The crew are experienced in reading the guests needs and the crew adapt to ensure the atmosphere is exactly what the guests want it to be – relaxed, informal and joking with the children, or a more formal setting for that special occasion.” Indeed, expert service combined with spectacular outdoor areas elegantly matched by a contemporary interior mean Manifiq may well just be a yacht that lives up to her name.
Built in 2010 at the Mondomarine shipyard in Italy, Manifiq benefits from the design experience of Cor D Rover Design. The Dutch design studio created a guest-friendly experience on board, with an easy-to-follow layout and generous exterior spaces suited to any occasion. The fun starts at the topmost level of the yacht: the sundeck. “The sundeck is one of the guests’ favourite social areas on board,” adds Captain Jon Lee. And it’s no wonder why. Aside from the fantastic views you get from up there, guests can relax in the aft-facing jacuzzi or enjoy a refreshing cocktail at the adjacent bar while the chef prepares lunch on the outdoor BBQ.
One deck down on the bridge deck aft, another guest hotspot is found. Built for entertainment and family-living, this area offers a perfect start the day with a healthy breakfast setup, or for more formal dinner arrangements with entertainment under the stars.
Versatile living
For daytime relaxing, the foredeck area offers an escape to the guest traffic on the aft decks and provides the perfect private space to settle in for an afternoon of sunbathing and reading. As apt as this space may be for ultimate R&R, Captain Lee notes that it boasts versatility. “The seating area here is the perfect place to hang out, play music and enjoy the party vibe in a destination such as Ibiza.”
“Manifiq caters to all clientele, and over the last two seasons we’ve had large groups of adults who have relaxed and enjoyed the watersports, and we’ve also had groups of close friends and also families with smaller children,” Captain Carlyle continues. “Some of our guests just want simple, old-school yachting with plenty of nice anchorages, high-quality service and fun in the water. We cater to all requirements and preferences,” adds Captain Lee.
When things heat up on deck, Manifiq’s crew are standing by to send you off a watersports-filled adventure as you let loose and discover the active side of yachting. Complete with her own six-metre tender, a SeaDoo jet ski, two Seabobs, stand-up paddleboards and a selection of inflatable water toys for towing, afternoons on board are as exciting as they sound.
Refined interior design
After an exhilarating time on the water, Manifiq surprises with her refreshing and calming interior. Here, Italian designer Luca Dini has transformed the internal spaces into a hyper-modern yet refined living space that strikes the perfect balance between Italian chic and comfort. Conceived for charter use from the beginning, guests will particularly appreciate the classic layout style and generous corridors that instantly makes one instantly feel at ease and at home.
The arrangement includes several guest social areas on the main and upper decks in addition to five sumptuous staterooms on the main and lower deck, each decorated in its own style that matches the rest of her designer interior.
The upper deck saloon is where guests come to relax in the plush velvet armchairs. When night falls, or during those moody Mediterranean days, this lounge is transformed into a comfortable family-style cinema experience with a large curved screen. Popcorn and drinks included!
With sophisticated soundproofing and vibration-dampening materials built into the yacht’s platform, Manifiq boasts extraordinarily low noise and vibration levels, which translates into a relaxing and stress-free experience on board. Nowhere is this more prominent than in the master suite, situated forward on the main deck. Spreading across the full beam of the vessel and flanked with magnificent views, the owner’s apartment Art Deco style is all about opulence and glamour. Black and gold accents are complemented by high-gloss and other reflective surfaces for an elegant ambience. The stateroom is fully equipped with a comfortable walk-in wardrobe, stylish marble-clad en suite and an inviting sofa, along with impressive storage spaces.
Serious superyacht cruising
Powered by twin MTU engines, she has a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 11. Built for serious cruising with a range of 3,000 nm, her captain and crew know all the best hotspots in the east and the west Mediterranean to make your superyacht charter unforgettable. “That’s what we as the crew enjoy offering. I personally enjoy doing that - it’s not a complicated recipe: half the job is the weather and finding the best route!”
