Elissavet Mitilinaiou joined Can’t Remember two years ago having started her culinary career at 17 in a restaurant near her family home in Crete. A veteran of high level restaurant kitchens all over Greece, Elissavet has now completed over a decade of yacht industry experience, travelling extensively throughout Europe.
Her ability to create innovative and memorable dining experiences for guests is inspired by her Greek roots and in short, the food she delivers attain a gastronomic excellence that will surprise and delight guests.
A typical menu might begin with rocket salad and mizithra cheese, feta dip with ouzo and olive bread and Kataifi gruyere cheese along with oven roasted lamb with herbs, vegetables, apple, wine and honey. A main of mushroom and truffle oil risotto is followed by strawberry cheesecake.
Elissavet’s collection of crowd pleasing family friendly dishes include quiche Lorraine with spinach, bacon and mushrooms, Pastitsio macaroni pie with mincemeat and bechamel sauce, millefeuille eggplant and mussel risotto. Speciality desserts which feature on the menu include chocolate soufflé with cream, cinnamon rice pudding, white almond cake and fresh fruit tiramisu.
